Account & Billing

Plans, payments, and your account

Sign in to your account, go to Billing, and click "Manage Subscription" to open the Stripe billing portal. From there you can upgrade, downgrade, or change your billing cycle. Changes take effect immediately for upgrades and at the next billing period for downgrades.
Go to Billing in your account dashboard, then click "Manage Subscription". In the Stripe portal, select "Cancel plan". Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. You can reactivate any time before the period ends.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit and debit cards through Stripe. All transactions are processed securely and we never store your full card details.
All paid plans come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Contact our support team within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days back to your original payment method.
Technical

Protocols, features, and privacy

SecureWave supports three industry-standard protocols: WireGuard (recommended, fastest and most modern), OpenVPN (widely compatible, TCP/UDP), and IKEv2/IPsec (excellent for mobile, handles network switching well). You can select your preferred protocol in Settings.
The kill switch blocks all internet traffic if your VPN connection drops unexpectedly. This prevents your real IP address and unencrypted data from being exposed during brief disconnections. Available on Pro and Enterprise plans.
No. SecureWave operates a strict no-log policy. We do not record your browsing activity, connection timestamps, bandwidth usage, or DNS queries. Our infrastructure is designed so that even we cannot see what you do online. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Split tunneling lets you choose which apps or websites use the VPN tunnel and which connect directly to the internet. This is useful when you need VPN protection for sensitive activities while allowing local network access for things like printers or local streaming services.
Troubleshooting

Common issues and solutions

Try these steps: 1) Check your internet connection without VPN. 2) Try a different server location. 3) Switch protocols in Settings (WireGuard to OpenVPN or vice versa). 4) Restart the SecureWave app. 5) Check the System Status page for any ongoing issues. If the problem persists, run a diagnostic from the app and contact support.
VPN speed depends on several factors: 1) Connect to a server closer to your physical location for lower latency. 2) Use WireGuard protocol for the fastest speeds. 3) Avoid servers with high load (check server status in the app). 4) Test your base internet speed without VPN to rule out ISP issues. 5) If on Wi-Fi, try a wired connection.
Some websites block known VPN IP addresses. Try: 1) Switch to a different server in the same region. 2) Try a different server region. 3) Use split tunneling to exclude that specific website from the VPN tunnel. 4) Clear your browser cookies and cache. If the issue persists, contact support with the website URL.
Run our built-in DNS Leak Test to verify. If a leak is detected: 1) Enable the kill switch in Settings. 2) Set DNS to "Default" or "Cloudflare" in Settings instead of "Custom". 3) On Linux, ensure systemd-resolved is configured correctly. SecureWave automatically configures DNS leak protection on most platforms.
